TOOL CONCERT: mud, more mud, ankle deep in mud, liberty science center, getting pissed that we didn't even need to pay 100 bucks and could've snuck in, 30 bucks for parking ripoff, 40-45 bucks for a shirt ripoff, going to the wrong stage, discovering crystal castles, running, piggyback rides, MAD GOOD VIDS/PICS, not running into an asshole, maynard dancing like a spider and stripping down to his boxers, some random drummer, the shit/pot smell clogging the air, amazing psychadelic videos playing on the huge screens surrounding the stage, being taller than everyone else in the crowd for the duration of several songs, trying to dance/headbang to tool but failing because they change the beat every 10 seconds, trudging through more mud to get to the dance floor, showing everyone who's boss

matt's off to the coast guard in the morning. we celebrated at applebee's (on friday) with his sister and a few friends. it was supposed to be a surprise but only worked out half decently due to being given bad directions and ultimately driving back and forth on the same road for an hour. don't even ask. later we drove up to rutgers, played the best (my first) game of kings and drank ourselves into a blurry stupor. lmao don't forget to take your little man off the cup, drink, put your little man back on the cup, kiss the cat, pet the dog, and grab yourself. ohhhh god. there was some unnecessary drama, but blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-alcohol. *slaps knee. don't worry, it worked out well in the end as it always does
